Activate the use of car GPS locator

How to activate and use the car GPS tracker is a very common topic, but in view of the fact that many customers who use the tracker terminal for the first time do not understand it. 1. GPS positioning terminal is divided into: wiring type and installation-free type

The installation methods of these two positioners are also slightly different. The wired positioner needs to be connected to the power supply of the vehicle to work normally for 24 hours. However, the installation-free positioner can usually be fully charged once and the number of standby and use days can be determined according to the battery size of the positioner.

2. The activation method of GPS positioning terminal is:

(1) Install a SIM card on the locator;

(2) Fully charge the positioner or connect the power cord so that the positioner is powered on;

(3) Take the vehicle or the locator out for a period of time, and the locator can be activated and used;

3. The operation steps for installing the SIM card in the locator are:

(1) Open the back cover of the locator or the slot plug of the locator's SIM card;

(2) Insert the SIM card correctly according to the card picture on the locator;

(4) Close the back cover or the card slot plug;

4. Power-on operation mode of the positioner:

(1) Wiring type locator: Just find the positive and negative poles of the car power supply, the negative pole is very easy to find. The place where the body is grounded is the negative pole. Find the positive terminal in the fuse box, near the car key switch or directly connect it to the battery.

Note: It is best to connect to the normal electricity, which is not affected by the car's key switch, and the power cord directly drawn from the car battery. The lighted side of the locator should face the sky. The side facing the sky should not be close to the metal object blocking the internal GPS antenna, it needs to receive satellite signals from 20,000 kilometers away.

(2) Installation-free locator: connect the charging cable of the locator to the locator and plug it in to start charging. When the positioner is fully charged, the charging indicator of the positioner will change color or stop flashing.

Note: Different types of locators have different charging indicators, so please operate according to the instructions of different types of locators.
