GPS is widely used in the field of auto finance business. As an important part of risk control, GPS plays a vital role in reducing risks and finding cars. After using GPS for so long, the general public is not very familiar with it. As a professional manufacturer of GPS locators, Eelink Communication Technology Limited will answer your questions about GPS locators in detail today.
1. If two of the three wires of the wired GPS are broken, can they still be tracked?
Generally, a wired GPS locator has three lines, one is connected to the positive pole of the car power supply, one is connected to the negative pole, and the other is an ACC line. The wired GPS tracker can only work when the GPS tracker forms a closed current loop with the vehicle power supply. If two of the three wires of the positioner are broken, then the positioner and the car power supply must not form a closed loop. Without forming a closed loop and the locator is not powered on, it is naturally impossible to continue to locate and track the position of the vehicle.
2. Is Beidou or GPS used in the positioning system?
At present, most of the new mobile phone or car GPS locators support the navigation of the US GPS, Beidou of China, and GLONASS of Russia. Combined navigation through multiple navigation systems can improve navigation accuracy. When we press the button of the mobile phone to turn on the GPS, in fact, Beidou, American GPS, and Russian GLONASS are all serving us.
3. What does GPS low battery alarm mean?
Low battery alarm generally has two situations:
(1) When the battery inside the GPS is about to run out, in order to avoid the situation where the location cannot be located due to the running out of power, the locator will send a low battery warning to the owner before the battery is about to run out. Let the vehicle owner charge the locator battery in time.
(2) The low-battery alarm function is mainly for warning the vehicle battery. GPS will automatically detect the battery condition of the vehicle battery. When it detects that the battery is about to run out, it will actively send a low battery warning message to the owner.
4. What is the principle of WiFi positioning?
WiFi positioning relies on detecting the MAC Address of all nearby wireless network base stations, to compare the MAC Address coordinates in the database, and cross-connect the location. Simply put, WiFi positioning is to determine the IP address of the source of this signal by using the transmitted signal of WiFi, and then regard this IP address as the current positioning data.
5. How does GPS realize remote disconnection of oil and power?
The GPS control of the automobile is mainly for the control of the power switch or the relay of the automobile accelerator pump. GPS positioning equipment must have mobile network, GPS + Beidou positioning information, and the built-in relay can control the closing switch externally.
