The company's vehicle management and corporate fleet supervision often use vehicle monitoring systems, and the on-board GPS locator, which is part of the vehicle monitoring system, plays a very important role in the vehicle monitoring system. Common main functions and applications:
1. Vehicle supervision
(1) Real-time location view
The real-time location includes three modes. The first mode is that the display of the vehicle's location on the map is relatively visual and very intuitive. The second mode is textual, which uses text to accurately mark the geographic location of the vehicle. The third mode is the unresolved geographic location, expressed in multiple digits, which is commonly used in some GPS positioning tools or detection tools.
(2) Real-time vehicle condition view
Under normal circumstances, we can see the current speed and direction of the vehicle on the vehicle monitoring system. After some locators are connected to the ACC state, they can identify whether the vehicle is driving on its own or passively.
2. Command communication
(1) SOS alarm information upload
When the vehicle or the owner is in a dangerous scene, the driver can make a one-key alarm through the alarm button on the GPS car locator. After the alarm, the platform will display the location and time of the alarm, so that the management personnel of the vehicle monitoring platform will make corresponding response strategies and measures according to different scenarios.
(2) Issuance of oil and power cut instructions
Managers can use the command issuing function of the vehicle monitoring platform to issue real-time instructions to the target vehicle to disconnect the fuel circuit. After the assignment is completed, the purpose of locking the vehicle engine can be achieved, thereby fixing the vehicle in place.
3. Standardize driving
(1) Planning driving route and driving area
According to the operation requirements of the vehicle, the driving route of the vehicle can be planned and the driving range can be set through the background. Through the driving route planning function, the driving route is outlined on the map and the deviation positive and negative values are set. Once the vehicle driving range exceeds the positive and negative values, the vehicle monitoring system will alarm.
(2) Speeding alarm
When the speed of the vehicle driven by the driver is greater than the speed limit value and the duration exceeds the set time range, the vehicle monitoring system will generate an overspeed alarm.
(3) Fatigue driving alarm
Fatigue driving is based on the computational functions that are generated during the time the driver drives the vehicle. When the driver continuously drives the vehicle for more than the set time value, the vehicle monitoring platform will generate a fatigue alarm.
